In August 2007, Western New York’s top soccer clubs, the Rochester Junior Rhinos, Syracuse Football Club and Buffalo United Soccer Club joined together to form the Empire United Soccer Academy. 

As we conclude the 2009/2010 Season, we would like for you all to take an opportunity to complete the End of Season Survey.  Your feedback is very important to us and will assist us as we enter into the 2010/2011 Season.

The 2010 Development Academy Spring Showcase has drawn to a close, with 258 games completed on the 20 fields at the Sarasota Polo Grounds. Nearly 4,000 players, 118 referees, hundreds of spectators and 300 college coaches descended upon Sarasota, Fla., for one of the premier youth events in the country.

The U-11 Girls Blue EUSA Buffalo Team traveled to the Erie, PA on May 9th and captured the Great Lakes Alliance Soccer Friendlies. The team finished a winning record of 2-0-1 for the tournament and an impressive goal differential of plus six.

Liam Callahan impressed as one of the best players on the field during Empire United’s matches against South Central Premier and Oakwood SC over the weekend. Demonstrating composure throughout the game, Callahan was able to assert his presence offensively from his position at left back in his team’s 0-0 draw with Oakwood SC.

Stephen Baker scored the game winner in a 2-1 victory over Match Fit Chelsea on Saturday.  He now has 13 goals in 14 games this season and has risen to sixth place in the Top 10 Leading Scorers list for the U-17/18 age group.  The six-foot forward has scored in eight different games this season and has recorded a three game goal-scoring streak at the Winter Showcase in December 2009.

The U-12 Red Girls participated in the MASC Ohio tournament, it’s the first time the team has entered into a tournament and went to the finals, eventually losing in pentalty kicks. The Team finished 2-1-1 for the weekend. The Tournament held outside of Cinnanatti,Ohio drew teams from the Ohio, Western Pa, and Mid Western states.  Congratulations to the U-12 Red Girls. 

The Board of Directors of Webster Soccer Association and Empire United Soccer Academy are very pleased to announce the merger of the Lakefront Classic Soccer Tournament and the Empire Cup.  The Lakefront Classic Tournament and Empire Cup will take place on June 18-20, 2010 in Webster, NY and will create the largest youth soccer tournament in New York State.

U-12 Girls Blue Win Ohio Northern Cup. The U-12 Girls Blue EUSA Buffalo Team traveled to the Cleveland Area and captured the Ohio Northern Cup. Going 4-0 in the tournament.
